A new Ha’apai College block at Pilo Levu was designed by Harry Stewart. The planners Frank Forster and Bruce Livingstone travelled to Tonga to supervise construction.
A Careers Night at St Paul’s Collegiate attracted 250 students.
In an active Student Exchange year, Sally Kimmel arrive from USA, while two girls went to Australia and twins came to New Zealand through the Matched Twin Exchange.
Ray Cade’s bulletin was placed second in District.
We supported two RYLA awardees, while Rotaract also were assisted.
Other highlights included a rural-urban evening and a Sunday afternoon car rally.
Past President Alf Ward was honoured as a Paul Harris Fellow.
