The year’s major task was the District 993 “Riverboat Conference”, a standout for organisational efficiency and flair.
The Peer Support Programme, spearheaded by Rob Wilton and Alan Jones, continued as a spectacular success.
Tables and chairs were sent to Tonga and support continued for Pacific Islands’ Fellowship.
Twenty cases of citrus fruit were sent to Taupo.
Christmas fruit trays netted $700, a pancake breakfast brought in $500, an auction of donated goods raised $1200 and a “Stress Seminar” with professional presenter raised $1200.The East Hamilton Probus Club was chartered.
Bryan Fraser was honoured as a Paul Harris Fellow.
